Behzad Shahmoradi is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Engineering, Faculty of Health, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences (Iran). He completed his B.E. in Urmia University of Medical Sciences (2003), his M.Sc. in University of Mysore, India (2007) and his PhD in the same  University of Mysore, India in 2011. In recent years, he has been responsible for many research projects and guidance and supervising for postgraduate and PhD Scholars in the field of Environmental Health Engineering. In addition to publishing numerous scientific articles in reputed journals, he has translated several volumes of specialized books from English to Persian, authored two volumes of English books, and published two chapters of the book in English. His research focus is on the synthesis of doped nanoparticles to photodegrade environmental pollutants and since 2011 is a full-time geographical faculty member of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences (iran). He is currently the Editor-in-Chief, and along with Dr. Hamzeh Salehzadeh, the Founder and Owner of Environmental Health and Pollution Research (EHPR).
